Lanka JP Tours was founded by a small group of Negombo-based travel enthusiasts who shared one simple belief — that Sri Lanka's beauty, culture, and warmth deserved to be shared with the world through genuine, personal, and carefully crafted travel experiences.
What began as a modest travel desk operating out of Negombo, on the island's golden west coast, quickly grew as word spread about the company's attention to detail, honest pricing, and deep local knowledge. Early clients — many of them returning travel agents from Japan and across Asia — became long-term partners, helping shape the company's reputation for reliability and warm Sri Lankan hospitality.
Over the years, the team expanded from arranging simple airport transfers and day tours to designing complete multi-day itineraries spanning the Cultural Triangle, the hill country's tea estates, wildlife safaris in Yala and Udawalawe, and the pristine beaches of the southern and western coasts. Our growing fleet of vehicles, network of hand-picked hotels, and team of professional English and Japanese-speaking chauffeur-guides became the backbone of the experiences we deliver today.
Today, Lanka JP Tours operates from our office at Jambo Garden Hotel, #186, Old Chilaw Road, Negombo, working hand-in-hand with travel agents, tour operators, and independent travellers from around the globe. Our mission remains unchanged since day one: to showcase the very best of Sri Lanka — its people, places, and stories — through tours that feel personal, authentic, and unforgettable.
